1. What the plugin is
Shakvaro Content Engine is a bring-your-own-key AI content automation plugin for WordPress. You configure your own AI provider, and the plugin plans, generates, and publishes posts from your keyword lists. It runs entirely on your own server. There is no Shakvaro middleman in the content path unless you explicitly opt into the optional Shakvaro AI hosted tier.
2. What the plugin does NOT do
- It does not send any data to Shakvaro or to any analytics service. No telemetry, no usage tracking, no phone-home of any kind.
- It does not create accounts, set tracking cookies, or load external scripts, fonts, or images on your site.
3. Data the plugin processes on YOUR server
All of the following stays in your own WordPress database:
- Keywords, locations, templates, and prompts you enter in the workflow.
- Generation queue and activity logs (API call records, statuses, error messages). Logs can be exported or purged by the site admin at any time.
- 404 request logs: when a visitor hits a missing URL, the plugin records the URL path, hit count, and timestamp. It does not record visitor IP addresses, cookies, or user agents.
- API keys for your AI providers, stored encrypted (AES-256-CTR) in your database.
4. Data sent to third parties — only the AI provider you configure
When you run a generation, test a prompt, or use AI validation, the plugin sends your prompt text — which may include your keywords, article context, or the 404 URLs being evaluated — directly from your server to the AI provider you chose(e.g. OpenAI, Google Gemini, or your own self-hosted endpoint). That transfer is governed by the provider's own privacy policy and data-processing terms. Shakvaro is not a party to it.
If you enable the optional Shakvaro AI provider(a separate companion plugin), prompts and generated responses transit Shakvaro's AI gateway purely to serve the request and are not retained beyond what is needed to do so. The standard plugin does not use this gateway.
5. Site visitors
The plugin's only frontend behaviour that affects visitors is 404 logging (URL path and count, no personal data) and the standard rendering of generated posts. It adds no tracking of any kind.
6. Data removal
Deactivating the plugin leaves your data intact. The settings page provides an admin-only "Delete all data" action that removes all plugin tables and options. Whether uninstalling also wipes data is controlled by the "Remove data on uninstall" setting.
7. Open source & license
Shakvaro Content Engine is open source under the GNU GPL v2 (or later). You may use, modify, and redistribute it under that license.
